Vineyard Recas
Red wine from Romania
Castel Huniade – Merlot&Pinot Noir sweet
Deep red, full-bodied and athletic, despite the feminine notes that emanate from this wine – both in aroma and in taste. Produced around those of juicy fruits (grapes, sour cherries, cherries) and complemented by notes of spices, sweet wood and dry wood. The taste is characterized by sweet notes of ripe cherries and raspberries, medium length, velvety and refreshing with notes of eucalyptus

The history of Castel Huniade
Castel Huniade – one of the most important historical landmarks of Timisoara was built in 1447 by Ioan de Hunedoara. It is the same year that Reca’s vineyards were first documented in a contract in which Ioan and Ecateriana Magyar bought Mihail de Ciorna’s vineyards for 32 gold forints.
The castle now houses the Banat Museum – an impressive collection of artworks and artifacts from this region’s rich history, including a newly restored wine museum supported by Cramele Recas.
