About CEPTURA

The Crama Ceptura winery is located in Dealu Mare, one of the most famous wine regions in Romania. The area is on the same latitude as Bordeaux and is not called the „homeland of Romanian red wines“ for nothing.

The vineyards are located at an altitude of 160 meters where they can benefit from the southern sun exposure and absorb all the light. The vineyards located here enjoy 14 more days of sunshine. During this time, the grapes develop a special aroma and unique taste and are then harvested by hand.

Varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Muscat Ottonel and the Romanian grape variety Feteasca Neagra grow on the slopes. Optimal conditions make it possible to produce quality wines of the premium class.

Production capacity:

• Processing of 10,000 tons of grapes per season
• 1 bottling line with a capacity of 6,000 bottles per hour
• 1 bag-in-box filling machine with a capacity of 200 pieces per hour
• Production of 10 million bottles per year
