Gentle tannins and a long aftertaste complete the wine.

About CORCOVA ROY & DAMBOVICEANU
The winery Corcova Roy & Damboviceanu is located in the southwest of Romania, belonging to the district town of Mehedinti. It is considered a young winery by today’s consumers, although Corcova carries on the region’s tradition of winemaking, which is over a hundred years old.
The wines of Corcova Roy & Damboviceanu are unique and have this special taste of the terroir, since all essential conditions meet there: A continental climate with a Mediterranean influence, which is characterized by warm and dry summers, mild winters with increased rainfall and soils rich in minerals and nutrients.
In 2005, Cricova began replanting 55 hectares of vineyards with Pepiniers & Hebinger vines from France and other varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Muscat Ottonel, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Feteasca Neagra.
In addition, the wine cellars built by Prince Anton Bibescu were completely renovated. The original style was retained and equipped with the best machines from France and Italy.
For the Roy & Damboviceanu team, wine means continuing the tradition of producing fine wines; but also hard work, investments and risks.
But it also means appreciating history and true values and making sure every day to live them out in the future.
