Winery Oprisor

Made from carefully selected grapes, fermented and aged in oak barrels, this wine is full of passion, harmonious, intense, powerful and elegant. It was macerated until it acquired the appropriate strength. This wine has been sufficiently aged to obtain the appropriate silkiness and softness. Its complexity surprises after the first olfactory impression, reminiscent of cranberries and cocoa. The elegant attack is continued by a persistent and enveloping taste, reminiscent of spices and dark chocolate.

The history of the vineyard Oprisor is located in Cetate. It is part of the Olten crown of values. The hills around Oprisor still recall the ancient human settlements that were established here centuries ago: When the first maps were drawn, the inhabitants of the time gave the name LA CETATE to the hill at the foot of which the Oprisor winery is now located. There, on the top of the hill LA CETATE, were discovered the ruins of a wooden fortress that served to protect the communities of the Drincei Valley. If the place was blessed by the Creator with all that was necessary to give the best fruits to the people, then the “man who sanctifies the place” has also found his destiny in the history of Oprisor.
